This question is directed mainly to Louis but anyone else feel free to chime in...
I am looking at buying a low voltage fridge to use on our solar power system. They are all low voltage conversions, where a Danfoss 12/24 volt compressor is fitted to a "normal" two door fridge. One that I am considering is a conversion of an Astro fridge from Germany. Astro are not normally sold here in Aus so I'd like an opinion of them, and links to websites both for the manufacturer and opinions/tests/reviews of them.
We currently have a gas fridge which is pretty good, and is vintage too, but since the local bread bakery closed we need to buy a weeks bread at once, so a bigger fridge would help.
Thanks very much
Chris.
