In the 1950s and 1960s, I knew several families who had this Maytag/GE laundry pairing. I guess maybe they bought what Consumer Reports rated highly and our big department store sold GE and Norge.

17 hour roundtrip drive isn't worth the effort for BOL machines. Maybe someone closer will snag them up.
