Interesting marketing strategy with those speed selections. Was this the entry level for the larger tub models?
At the time of the A408, the Fabric-Matic A308 (without the soak cycles, bleach dispenser, or warm rinse) would have been the entry-level large tub machine.
Maytag liked to play with options over time... I believe the A406 and A407 would have been the entry-level large tubs prior to the Ax08 models?
