Blendered Cream

The fats in the butter collect in record time, in a blender, but it does not aerate. A food processor does the same thing, but takes longer. Use the blender of processor to "whip" cream if you want it to be super thick and never separate, for decorating or all day sitting at a potluck with no refrigeration.
Both the blender or processor are great ways to make butter, quickly and efficiently. Not nearly as much mess as butter in a mixer, although that's the way mom used to do it.

Greater Volume

Of course, since the action of the blender or the processor does not aerate. The functions are not used interchangably, only to create a pastry like cream for piping. Ot perhaps, if both your arms are broken, you don't own a mixer, whisk or egg beater and need to whip cream.

I really liked that commercial, too. Love the music!!

She looked like a very organized homemaker; absolutely spotless kitchen! :-)

Classic VIII

That had to be one of Oster's biggest selling blenders, I still see them in thrift stores now and again, and they are all over ebay too!
One of the smartest looking blenders made too!
Thats a neat commercial, and that kitchen is FAB!
