The subject of banana pudding came up at work the other day. Someone turned to me and asked me how I made mine. I said that I was not a big fan of banana pudding, but the two times I had made it for a family function I used an ole-timey boiled custard recipe. A couple of my co-workers asked: "What is boiled custard?"

Speaking of gas stoves, I baked cheese straws in the O'Keefe yesterday for the first time. They came out PERFECT. I had heard you comment before about how you liked to bake in a gas oven.
