About 20 minutes ago I got an e-mail at work from a vendor of mine who was helping a friend clean out an old barn over the weekend, and they came across a "brown" dryer, which he said was a GE from the seventies. Then a pic was attached.
I saw it and said to myself "If that's a GE it is the oddest model I've ever seen. It looks more like a Westinghouse" Maybe in this case the term "Rustinghouse" is more appropriate?
Later additional pics proved it was indeed a Westinghouse.
The guy wanted to offer it to me before they toss it, so apparently our previous conversations of my washer hobby have sunk in with him. Gotta love it when people actually listen!
Anyway, this dryer looks like nothing more than a potential parts donor, and even that is questionable, but I'd be glad to arrange to rescue it for anyone interested. Just e-mail me, preferrably through the site. If nothing else, its a cool story....
Have a good week everyone!
