Hello,
Ive recently put my Beko WME7247S into the House of Laundry care, Ive noticed that since I have been using it, the skin on my arms is very red and raw, Ive had to rewash everything in the samsung because the rinsing is far better on the samsung. Ive tried using the beko recently, but still the same problem.
Even with extra rinse selected, its not rinsing well, does anyone know any way to remodie the issue as its getting on my nurvers as I like to alternate between what machine I use.

What factors have you observed that might be the cause of inadequate rinsing? Does it not use enough water? Does it not spin sufficiently between water changes? Does it not provide enough rinses? Are loads not distributing well enough to go into spin? Maybe until you figure out these factors, you can just give loads an extra rinse and spin in your other machine. Do you have cortisone creme for your allergic reaction? Glad it's your shirts and not your underwear that are irritating your skin.

The machine uses an adiquit amount of water, it does spin-drains, this could possibly be what is causing the problems. I do have Corisome cream which has taken the redness and itchyness down dramaticaly.
I use the samsung for most things now, atleast the beko has a use for washing large cat beds..such a shame though.

hey, under the lid there is a circular pressure switch which sets the water level. on it there are a few screws, turn each one inwards one turn and itll improve water levels. if you need some more water after than, turn them another turn :)

Im not brave enough to do that lol, it uses enough water for my liking, but Im wondering if the spin drains are what cause the poor rinsing.
 
Couple of questions to help determine what the issue could b

First of all, how much detergent are you using? It may be that you are simply using more than is needed.

Secondly, find out via the water board what your water hardness is. A lot of people think there water is harder than it is, and use more detergent than necessary as a result.

Thirdly, how full are you filling the machine? I'm sure we all know you should fill the drum losely until you can still comfortably fit your hand in the top of the drum. Filling the machine more than this could reduce rinsing performance. Absorbent items such as towels should be more loosely loaded (roughly 3kg) to ensure better rinsing. If short, or non-cottons cycles are used the load should be reduced accordingly.

If you are sure to are using the least amount of detergent necessary then I could suggest changing detergent. In another thread I believe you said you use fairy. Fairy claims to be good for sensitive skin but it is actually very difficult to rinse out and quite heavily perfumed. Persil powders would probably be a better choice. Again a strongly perfumed fabric softner/more tha half a cap of softner can also aggregate skin conditions.

If you are following all of the above correctly and there is no fault in the machine then there isn't really anything else that can be done. I have never had a problem with the rinse performance of bekos, and the people who have tend to be chronic overdosers and/or over loaders, which would go some way to explaining their problems with these machines.

1) I always use a vanish scoop for my powder as one scoop is enough
2)The water hardness where I live is medium
3)I always load my machines loosley (Normaly I wash roughly 4-5 pyjama shirts and 4-5 pyjama bottoms)
Im allergic to persil, when I was still using a hotpoint machine, I found that it rinsed fairy out better than other detergents I was using, I use a small spot of softener and no softener for towels and Jumpers, since I am allways washing Pyjamas every saturday or friday, that is how I calculate the number of items normaly washed in the beko or the samsung.
The beko does 3 rinses as standard, where as the samsung can be programmed and I normaly set it to 3 or 4, today I was using surcare non purfumed liquid (will buy tablets or powder next time) so we shall see what effect that has on me. There is a definant diference between the two machines. Even my dad who doesnt suffer with rashes has a rash on his back, I used the same dosage of powder (Bold, his shirts are normaly washed in it) and a small spot of comfort tropical burst (again, his shirts are normaly washed in it)in the beko. I may consider swapping to Ecover or surcare, but Im shocked as the samsung has no problem rinsing anything out (and the rinses tend to be short-ish) so I have not got a clue as to whats up.
My beko is a 2010 model btw.

Ok...well a couple of things from the above.

If you are using vanish in your loads, it is particularly harsh on materials AND skin. I'd suggest stopping that and just use a decent detergent. In my experience here in Oz, with softer water, Vanish is not particularly easy to rinse out.

Secondly, if you are washing 5 pyjama sets a week, then they are hardly 'dirty' - generally worn once and possibly after you have bathed of an evening - so going against clean skin. You may need to reduce your detergent dose to 1/2.

Finally, clean the filter out on the machine and check there are no kinks in the hose....and watch the full cycle. To my knowledge, Beko don't do spin drains....and my mothers F&P rebadged Beko needed a control board replacing straight out of the box - it wasn't pumping out properly and then heading into spin between rinses. This gave the impression of a 'spin drain'.
 
@ronhic: I use a vanish scoop for dosing my washing powder, I do not use vanish in every load, I use half of a scoop for Pyjamas on a sythetics 40 wash, the pump is clear of foreign objects to the best of my knowledge, I recorded this video on daily quick 50*c, I was washing a blanket that use for covering the machines up in during the winter.

@paulc: The rash was checked by my GP yesterday (oddly enough), She asked if I was using non bio powder, which I answerd with "yes", she cant understand whats up ether and I explained the whole scenario to her and she though it was odd.

P.S the overdose in this video was not of my fault as mum measured the detergent out. The video shows all of the rinses the machine had done.

in your video the Beko is very effective at handling the sudslock after the first rinse but it seems to do nothing about it after the second rinse.
So disappointing, I would be frustrated with that rinse performance as well !
I wonder if it might be just a bug of the synthetic and daily quick cycles.
I know it`s not going to be the best solution, but have you thought about using the normal cotton cycles instead and maybe just reduce the spinspeed a little when washing synthetics ?
 
Beko are not known for excellent rinsing or good quality machines anyway.
My advise would be choose a machine that's has an extra rinse option or water plus option or a machine with an allergy programme.
It is how long the machine spins for between the rinses that is how well it rinses, not just water levels, in fact very low rinses with long spins can actually be just as good at rinsing as a machine that uses very deep water levels for rinse. Sometimes very high water levels can in fact reduce rinse quality due to clothes splashing around creating excess suds. So spin drains could be to blame.

I never experienced any problems rinsing Vanish out of clothes, however Fairy gets very sudsy and doesn't rinse well, Ariel also doesn't rinse well, and leaves a coating behind. so maybe look around for an allergy sensitive detergent.
You shouldn't use vanish if the load isn't dirty though. Pyjama's aren't going to get dirty. they don't need lots of detergent or Vanish.

Maybe wash them all in your Samsung and avoid the Beko for washing those items.

Go have a skin allergy test at local doctors to make sure your not allergic to anything.
I am allergic to Aldi Fabric softener, that's why I always use Comfort. Other softeners may affect me! it could be your allergic to Fairy or vanish.
 
I dont use vanish!!! I use a vanish scoop for measuring detergent!
Im not allergic to fairy, the beko does have an extra rinse option, IIRC the poor rinsing was pointed out in reviews, had I noticed this when buying the machine, I wouldent have chosen it.
The doctors refuse to give me skin allergy tests, I think its time I went to BUPA for one...

I missunderstood your point about vanish - yes one scoop should be enough of normal detergent.
