Another Craigslist Ad which reads:

vintage Bendix Washing machine (green lake)

This washer has been sitting in our basement since... forever. It is an old, OLD washing machine. Surely it is nostalgic to someone. Perfect for a theater group looking to date their scene in the 50's (i'm guessing). Or the perfect piece for someone who loves to tinker in the past. I have no idea about whether or not it works. My guess is no.

Well, last I checked they had actually relisted the machine and were going to sell it to the highest bidder/offer. There must have been a few emails (including one from myself) when it was free. So if someone really wants it step up to the plate...

Bendix update

Well, I actually made an offer and received an email back "sold come and get it", but no address so I emailed again to get directions.

Well, the next day they informed me that they had decided to keep the machine as they liked its look in their remodeled laundry room. Well, I have to admit I was a little dissappointed, but actually I wasn't tooo interested in having another Bendix, just keeping it away from the Krusher, so in a way I am glad it is safe as an ornament. Still I am curious if I could have gotten in going...

That picture looks awfully familiar. Someone a while back I swear posted an ad of a craigslist ad with a very similar picture....

Dont know if it is a scam or not.
