Wow that's neat.  You don't see these stand alone dryers very often!  

 

Hopefully it doesn't need to be hauled up out of a basement, but then, it's got to weigh less than the washer/dryer combo!

 

I would guess 1954 or 1955??

Not sure about the date, but guessing mid-50's

It's got a window that reminded me of our black bakelite Airline radio..from the mid-1950's.

My mom had that dryer for a while, she gave it to my Grampa, who used it at the cottage til they sold the property.

I Talked with the Seller

I decided to go ahead and get this dryer. It is a one owner belonged to the seller's mother. I have had one like this previously and sold it to Jimmy because he had the matching washer. It was a good dryer so I hope this one will clean up well and I can make another good machine out of it. Will keep everyone posted on progress.
