Late one night, Lady Kenmo was tossing and turning in bed, her mind racing, at a thousand miles an hour. Restlessly, turning and tossing her mind would not be still! She went down to the lab to see what was on the slab. She HAD to get her new monster created. As thunder cracked and lightening lit the sky, her vision came to life! Take a look!!! Mark

Doctor Frankenstein

Mark, I'm going down in the basement right now and try both Easy agitators, the white enamel and the black plastic, in the Speed Queen, and make the clothes fly just like you did. I just love Easies and Speed Queens to death. Thanks for a fitting dessert after the Apex feast.

Mark, who would have ever guessed???

OMG I didn't have any idea the the Easy agitator would fit in a Speed Queen. I'm going to have to try that out myself!

More suds at U-Tube

SOMETHING didn't look right, not familiar with the old Easy's, so I'm glad it was explained. In the U-Tube link, check out the FL movies. The Speed Queen is by far the most interesting, the Duet is pretty boring. Still love front-loaders with windows - better then TV!

Super cool-love it-the Easy agitator in a Speed Queen-really like the action-and the rythamic Slosh-slap-slosh-slap action and sounds.Thats interesting the Easy agitator will fit in a SQ washer-wonder if the Easy agitator will work in new SQ washers?Good thing to have in the "wash kit" if you have a SQ washer-an Easy "spiralator" agitator!

I think that it looks AWESOME! But one does have to wonder about the affect it will have on the SQ's tranny? I know it's made of metal, etc. But, the Easy machines didn't go THAT fast, I just hope it doesn't end up hurting a machine.

that was very cool. did the spiralator *sit* properly? with the skirt flat on the bottom? do you dare load the machine up a bit?!?

the scoop

In order to use the Easy agitator, you have to shim the block a little bit. Once shimmed, that agitator sits just over the screws at the bottom of the tub. I think it would be better if the agitator base were a little larger but it didn't seem to matter in our tests. The video shows the first wash and rinse. The second one we overloaded on purpose with 6 pairs of heavy jeans (from the contractor that is working on my house) and three large bath towels. Didn't seem to matter one bit. That agitator took those clothes under just as it did when we underloaded it and washed them Speed Queen clean, as Jon Charles would say. What was really impressive was that we didn't get the non action of an overloaded preggo rotoswirl. It really washed and rinsed beautifully! With all that action in the tub, the brake held fast with no slippage at all. As for the transmission, I'm not really worried about it. Was talking to Lady Kenmo and she has never seen a Spped Queen with a transmission problem, and she's worked on bunches! I also have extra parts so I can repair it if need be. Thus the EasyQueen has been born! Mark

immersion baptism of the easy Queen

Mark, the Easy agitators are interchangeable. See if you can get ahold of the wider black one which will cover your screws. The triangular slots that hold the agitators on the post are all the same size. Do you think you might have one hiding somewhere among all your parts? Mke
