Bissels Generosity is really great-but their vacuums are crap.See MANY of them at Vacuum Hospital checked in for repair-commonist alments-clogged filters and blown motors-both on their bagless and bagged vacs.The Motor acts as the final filter!! When the dirt gets caked in it enough---the bearings blow and the motor blows rather spectacularly.Most don't get repaired.If you want a Bissel machine-get one of their bagged ones-they do hold up better.The Bissel floor machines are pretty good though-they should just stick to those.
