I am considering selling my collection of glass front display panels from Blackstone Elegante washers and dryers, from the 1960s. I thought that I would offer them to members first; although I have probably never seen any of these models featured on the forum. The panels would not be of any use in any other machine.
Maybe they could be for standalone decoration, or frame them for a unique window?
Of course, the problem is that the shipping of these fragile glass items would require over-packaging in a larger-than-necessary box. Would be costly.
The other alternative is to sell locally on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace, in the hope that some collector or antique dealer would buy 60-year-old unique items.
Any interest here, before I try the local selling route? I have about 10.
