Blue speckled Maytag

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The thought did enter my mind that the Blue Bell was from an earlier time so I could easily be mistaken.

The Maytag dealer I worked at in the Summer of '77 didn't stock this model, but I remember seeing it in the parts book.

I wonder how much it would have cost to buy parts to upgrade it to have the same agitator and rollers as the better model?

Maytag Blue Bell wringer washer.

BOL washer sold to get customers soon to appreciate and step up to a "real" Maytag conventional washer.

Besides that stubby so called agitator and other stripped down features (no pump nor could one be installed IIRC) BB washers came with two black "hard" wringer roller. Two of the three could be corrected; have seen BB washers with the later black or turquoise agitators, and standard wringer (one black only) wringer rollers.

Apparently these units do have a following. One went for big money on fleaPay not that long ago.
