A relative of mine has bought a Bosch Ecologixx 7 heatpump dryer and they're having some problems with it. It's not drying clothes fully when it's set to cupboard dry.

I don't have access to it, and I can't really help over the phone.

Does anyone know how they access the fine adjustment menu to increase the drying intensity / time ?

I need step-by-step instructions for the menu.

step 1: press the menu button
step 2: keep pressing it until a sun symbol flashes
step 3: ajust the drying (i personally recomend level 3)
step 4: done :)
hope that solves it :)
Tom :)

Thanks for that, I'll pass it on!

They were complaining that some items like towels (in mixed loads especially) were coming out extremely damp compared to their previous vented miele.

Do they need to press anything to save the setting?

Some steam escaping from the drawer!

I was just wondering if this is normal, or if the machine has a problem.

There's some steam / moist air escaping from the drawer. It's enough to actually create moisture condensation on the washing machine next to the dryer.

Is that normal with these machines, or is there some kind of a problem?

A load of towels will cause the windows of the utility room to fog up!

I opened the drawer during the cycle to see where it's coming from and it seems to be escaping up the drain that runs down into the condenser for self-cleaning.
