This cold fill washer/dryer machine is a 1981 model and has just developed an electrical fault. On starting a wash program the machine shorts and triggers the house RCD, but runs very happily on spin, pump-out, maintenance wash without shorting.
Is the problem a corroded heater element, live in a chalk water area, or more likely a chaffed wire somewhere?
Very solid machine and want to repair if possible.
