Bosch VT596

Hello,

My father has a Bosch VT596, it was working yesterday when my sister washed some fluffy bathroom mats, today it won't pump out the water. I thought it may be fluff in the filter but I can't see how to remove the bottom plinth to access it, does anyone know. I've tried sliding it up, down and side to side but it seems nothing is loosening it

I'm not sure on these but my mums old Neff washer used to be hinged at the bottom so you just pulled it from the top to reveal the filter
