This is the first Speed Queen I have purchased. I bought it based on how highly praised the company was for the durability of their washers. After connecting the washer I wiped down the interior of the machine like the manual stated and then set it to run a rinse cycle. While I was busy taking care of other things, I heard the washer start beeping and went back to see an error code flashing and water coming out of the bottom of the washer. I opened the lid and the tub had filled half way but no more. Water was steadily draining out so I had to get out the shop vac and suck the water out of the tub as fast as I could. Then had to suck up the water that was all over the floor.
I've been on hold with Speed Queen waiting to talk to someone for over two hours. What could possibly make a brand new washer do this? And I would think for a company like Speed Queen that they would have enough staff to manage call volume.
