My sister purchased this decorative tile at a Goodwill where she lives (Tavares, Florida) for $1.99 and asked me if I thought it was worth anything since she knows I like vintage stuff, all I could find on the web was that the Lackner Company made clocks and signs, nothing mentioned about anything else can someone help my sister and I with this oddity?
Sorry the pic is so small, if I try to blow it up it blurs it too much the image is obvious and the caption reads....
"Oh, a happy man is Tony and he's really very smart because he earns his pennies from the music in his heart". the back of the tile says "double duty Americana tiles, for hotplates, percolators, or for delightful wall decorations, copyright 1943 lackner Cin. O. USA
Thanks,
Vinnie
