Not my pic, but from a thread a while back on this site. I have never seen anything like this from GE, guessing its absolute BOL, yet surprised it has a recirculating pump. My first guess was a portable or space saver, but it seems much big, and as is GE had those little Hitachi when a portable was needed.

Yep, yur basic full-sized washing machine.

GE made so many residential and laundromat machines that I'm sure they fabricated this Filter-flo out of thousands of spare pieces. Interesting that the bases for the old pedestal control panels are still part of the cabinet top. This isn't an absolute BOL, you are right, because it has a lint filtering system. At college we had some of these, labeled Hotpoints, with only the agitator and a coin slot where yours has the control dial. The tub ring, the plastic lid hinges and the visible lid safety switch tells us that this model was put together somewhere on either side of 1970. Probably washes the daily laundry very well especially when connected by manually controlled water valves.
