Nothing to do with Merloni... despite the similarities...

I posted a link below where you can see 1 of these littly dinkies at work with 1/2 load of clothes... the load still seems to get a decent action.

Turns out to be a warmed over Aquamatic 1, though I do like the updated styling. My monitor is a bit rubbish - is that a fake chrome door on the 2?

As far as I know, the Heliomatic compact dryers were phased out with the change from Aquamatic 1 to Aquamatic 2 (though I stand corrected if people know otherwise).

they did do a compact aquamatic dryer in the late 90's but it was a rebadged white knight and occaionaly i see the odd rebadged creda mdoles too

Ahhh - so they did what everyone else has done at some point and bought into the ubiquitous design that is the old round door Creda Compact and the Phiips D153! Never knew that.

Will have to keep my eyes peeled for some pics of them.

I find this info realy useful. The machine is in good condition and spent around 15 years in storage. Please could you estimate how much the machine would sell for at auction. This is a up to date pic because the shed it is in has had a bench fitted. Oh, it flooded the shed yesterday.

It was an accident that I will never forget. There was foam bursting out of the dispenser and the door.

As it was merrily, I forgot to empty the bucket of water to water the flowers!!!!!
It over flew and and in to the electricity trench went the water.

I had to scoop all the foam out of the drum in to a bowl. How ever like so many things,this did not work propperly. I got most of it into the bowl but some fell on the floor
