Canus veg oil soap with goat's milk.

As is the case each winter, I suffer from extremely dry skin. This year, I decided to try another daily driver in the shower and ordered Canus goats milk soap from Lehmans.

I've used it daily for about 13 days now.

Thus far, it seems to do the trick. While my dry skin as not totally gone away, I don't have any more knuckle cracks or random fissures. It was a bit pricey, considering the shipping. But it foams well and leaves a pleasant, mild scent.

Has anyone else given this a try?

We buy "bare bones" goat's milk soap from the Sundance Soapery. The goats are even raised on the site of the place.

It's not too expensive $3.00-$4.00 per bar, and with five bars you get free shipping, I believe. They use cannola and olive oils in their soaps. The bare bones version has no fragrance whatsoever. And each bar lasts over 1 month of use.

Was just checking out the site. Bare Bones is $2.75/bar. Some of the soap looks and sounds good enough to eat. And some of the names are very amusing.

We've tried the Oatmeal, Honey & Almond soap. It smells really nice, but causes me to itch because of the fragrence. Karen loves the Lavender soap with real lavender in it. The Apple Cinnamon makes your house smell like you are baking an apple pie.
The Elf Sweat just smells like Christmas!

The anti-itch calamine bar works good on mosquito bites. I really recommend the place because of the fast shipping and the quality of the products.
