Chinese Tide

I found this Tide, made in China, at my local Groceries for Less store.

Some of my co-workers helped with the general meaning of the text: Great Value, Family Pack, Smells Fresh and Clean.

At the bottom the dreaded: No Phospate

The fragrance is floral, a bit too strong.

It is still amazing to me that this stuff can travel half-way around the world and still be less expensive in our market than the home-grown version.

I once used Israeli "Comet" and Russian "Ajax" wihtout leaving the country.

I use to live in Sactown. Did you find it in one of the stores on Stockton Blvd?

No, I found it at the Groceries for Less store on Watt Ave, near Marconi! They have lots of close out stuff, kind of like a dollar store but all price ranges.

There was

some of that stuff in our local Liquidation World store, they obviously bought it from some other close-out or else the stuff was confiscated by customs and then auctioned off.

Hey! Martin, thank you for telling us about that Store. I don't really get out into that area very much, other than to go to the Country Club Center or Town & Country Shopping. Naturally being most of the time the "sole" driver, I'm not always seeing some of these places. I'll have to check this out sometime after payday.

Have you actually used the Chinese Tide yet? I would imagine it would either be used quite sparingly or not at all in a Front-Load Washer, seeing that it is a very "High-Sudzer" Detergent. It will be interesting to see what other product's they have there.
