chocolate cake and frosting

A couple weeks back someone posted a receipe for a chocolate cake that had 3/4 cup coco and 1 cup boiling water...and a frosting that was 1 3/4 cup milk cooked with 6 tbs. flour..well...I had my annual southern sunday dinner party last night...I made the cake and frosting...it was a major hit..what was'nt eaten at desert walked out the back door with two of my guest...I dont remember who posted...but thanks!!! I was a little werid about the frosting..I'd never made anything quite like it..but it was excellant. I'll have to admit..I burned the first cooking of milk and flour..for some reason I did'nt think I had the heat turned up as high as it was..turned my back for a second..and it was Brillo pad time. Thanks again!!!/m

Thanks for the vote on the chocolate cake. The frosting was actually a group effort with many of us chiming in on how we each made it. I am relieved it worked since my reputation is on view of the entire membership.
