Did anyone get any new appliances for the holidays?

I got an ISE Evolution Compact, a Bissell Pet Hair Remover Hand Vac, and a Cuisinart 11 cup Food Processor

Got attachment for vacuum for me to clean out the Dryer. The Lint Lizard I am thinkig it might be good to use under the refrigerator too.

Lint Lizard 4. Lint Lizard

$11 + $7 S&H

The Pitch: "Removes dryer lint in hard-to-reach places!"

The Truth: To keep your dryer running efficiently and to help prevent a fire, it's critical to get rid of lint from inside the filter chamber and the exhaust vent. Lint Lizard does exactly that: Its long plastic tube and attachments slip onto almost any vacuum cleaner hose, sucking out dust and getting into crevices better than the vacuum can alone. Though corners and tight spots proved a challenge, Lint Lizard left us impressed. (Remember to thoroughly rid the dryer and vent of lint several times a year and to clean the lint screen after every load.)

The Bottom Line: The best infomercial product we've tested - it really works! This is one lizard we like to have lounging around.

I got this lovely, very lightly used circa 1992 Hoover PowerMax

While not appliances I did get some new All-Clad to use on my Frigidaire Flair. Got an 8 qt pasta pot with stainless mesh strainer insert, a 2 qt D5 saucepan, and a 12" copper core chicken fryer.

The one thing I wanted that wasn't under the tree was a completely restored white Mixmaster model 12

And let's not forget the Lint Lizards ability to pull out all the dust & dirt from your refrigerators coils if they are on the bottom of the refrigerator. I used mine on that ice maker job I mentioned in another thread.

Does a "FURBY" count as an appliance....he is electromechanical?

and he was one of the more enjoyable guest during Xmas......

Michael, you had a bumper-Christmas haul! Did you need a new disposer or is this a "want-one" wish? Everyone I know with one of those says it's the best they've ever had. Have you tried the new Cuisinart yet?

That Hoover PowerMax is a great cleaner - lots of power.

I got a bottle of Chanel Bleu cologne and a new set of tires for the Mercury - indulgence and practicality!

I didn't need a new disposal, but I mentioned to my sister that if I bought a new one after New Year's I would replace her dying Badger 5 with my 777ss. She told my parents when they asked her if there was anything else that I wanted for Xmas.

I just took the Cuisinart out of the box last night and I am dying to use it. I'm cooking for our New Year's Eve party so I'll probably use it then.
