Christmas shopping savings from JCPenney

As someone who has frequently visited this site for information and, sometimes, entertainment, I want to thank all of you by providing a special savings pass for JCPenney on December 7th. It's our Friends and Family shopping day and using the coupon I will send, you will receive MY employee discount, from 10% to 20%, on ALL your purchases, in store, from catalog and on-line, with NO exceptions.

This is my way of thanking all of you for the information you have given me over the past year and my employer, JCPenney, thanking those of you who have shopped with us in the past. I know it's trite, but we at JCPenney do know that you have a choice in where you shop and we are honored that you have chosen us.

I like their furniture, clocks / artwork and accessories.

Their nesting materials (i.e. bedsheets, curtians, towels, tablecloths) are realy nice as well.

Kitchen wares:
Not a huge selection, but there is always a thing or two to turn one's head.

recent JCP experience....

I went to our local store about a month ago looking to get a new 2" mini blind made for my dining room. The window in too big for something "off the shelf" and I didn't want multiple smaller blinds.

The Bali model that I selected was on sale at 60% off the book price of (gasp) $425. However, the sales clerk told me that if I waited about 10 days to order, it would be on sale again at 70% off, and if I purchased anything in the store before then there was a online survey on the back of the receipt that I could do and get an additional 15% off coupon good in addition to the sale price. Needless to say I followed her advice.

What surprised me the most was about 2 weeks after I placed the order, I got a handwritten thank you note in the mail from her, and a few days later she called to let me know that it would arrive about a week earlier that expected.

I didn't think this level of customer service still existed!

The new blind arrived last week and fit the window perfectly!

I couldn't be more pleased. I have 3 more smaller odd-sized windows to do after the holidays, so I think you can guess who will get the order.

I just realized that I forgot to include my email address in my original post. Too much Thanksgiving food and being a blonde!

JCPenney has always prided itself on providing our customers with the highest quality for a reasonable price. I've met some of our buyers and have some knowledge of what they look for in our merchandise. It's much harder than people think, believe me.

Customer service and satisfaction has been a part of our company since its founding in 1902. The Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have them do unto you) has, and continues to be, a guiding force for all of us at JCPenney. We, the associates, try our best to provide outstanding service to you, our customers, at all times. Sometimes we fail, most times we succeed but we always try.
