I came up with this song and thought it would be fun to share. To be sung to the tune of "While Shepards watch their Flocks by Night. 1. While shepards washed their socks by night, all hanging on the line, the angels of the Lord came down and said those socks are mine, and said those socks are mine. 2. I used my ABC today to wash a load just fine, glad tidings of great joy I bring,it washed out all the wine, it washed out all the wine. 3. The Westinghouse machine broke down, the water rushed on the floor, the Savior vacuumed it away and saved the day once more, and saved the day once more.4.The shepards wore clean robes again until they went to dine. The waiter tripped and soiled their clothes, with gravy and red wine, with gravy and red wine.5. And this should be a sign to them when you go out to dine; make sure you have your box of Tide to wash away the grime, to wash away the grime. 6. This yuletide carol's come to an end, despite all they had gone through, the angles, shepards of the Lord wear socks that look brand new, wear socks that look brand new.
I hope you all had a chuckle with this song; Happy holidays to all. Gary

Tom

Merry Christmas Tom. Thanks for responding. I thought this would be funny and everyone would enjoy this tongue in cheek song for Christmas. I guess not, you are the only one who responded. Thanks, Gary

But Gary, 142 people so far have read it and probably enjoyed it. They most likely did not have anything to add to something that was complete. It made me think of an evil queen I had not thought about in several months and that was good for a shudder.

HO HO HO!

Hi Tom, oops, I am not an upgraded member and didn't know that. Thanks though for letting me know. We just got home from my brother's in Joliet and had way too much food to eat! I hope you all had a great Christmas. Gary
