I don't usually post washer dryer sales that are this late model, but it occured to me that this set is probably close to the end of the line for the old "Lady Kenmore" badge and might be of interest to somebody on the group.

"Washer and Dryer - $150 (Montclair)
Top Model Lady Kenmore Washer and Dryer. Washer is in excellent condition. Dryer belt recently replaced and still working. $150 for the set. "

Did they have the white consoles back then? I could be wrong, but i think Sears was still sporting black consoles in 1988/89.

those machines were available with the white consoles in 89. I had bought one then but it had 6 different cycles as opposed to this machine which has the four cycle choices.

the models for these years were mono-chromatic for the consoles....

Black seemed best for viewing......I had Almond, with gray lettering, which almost seemed invisible...

this was a two speed model, which only had the 4 cycles.....

bought another set in 95, they were three speeds, which of course offered the Delicate and Handwash stepped down and intermittent cycles...plus a few more features....
