I have an avocado green Lady Kenmore Combination washer dryer that Im' about to bring back to life. It's been in a coma for about 15 years, but I still somehow expect it's gonna be up and running again before long. Luckily, I have another Lady Kenmore combo which I can use for parts. Between the 2, there are plenty of parts, but what I do think I may need is a pump belt. Does anyone here have a source for these no longer available belts, or know of a good substitute? Also...I have only one transmission - so if it doesn't spin (probably a bad shifter diaphragm)...I may need to secure a transmission as well.

I can supply photos if anybody is interested.

Some of you may remember me in years gone by as Imperialbob. Don't worry - I've calmed down for a couple of years since then.

I just love this site dearly, and humbly wish to be a part of it once again.

Peace.

Bob

Welcome back,
Your dreams were your ticket out.

Welcome back,
To that same old place that you laughed about.

Well the names have all changed since you hung around,
But those dreams have remained and they're turned around.

Who'd have thought they'd lead ya (Who'd have thought they'd lead ya)
Here where we need ya (Here where we need ya)

Yeah we tease him a lot cause we've hot him on the spot, welcome back,
Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back.

WATER PUMP BELT

I also have 2 LK combo's to get one up and running, I used eureka vacuum belt for the w/p, its working, don't have the bugs worked out for final spin, diaphram air tube may have crack in line preventing final spin, if you get stuck or want to work on them together, let me know, I do better with Philco Duomatics, never tackled the LK Combo before,

Bob its good to see you. Always enjoyed your posts. So how does this speed changer work, I always thought it was a 2 speed motor that kicks up the speed. I would like to see your LK pics. thanks. alr2903
