I had to go today to look at a commercial washer model# CAE2745FQ1 because the maintenance guy said he'd hear it running like it was filling but no water was coming into the tub. Said no signs of water leaks or spraying anywhere else from the back or underneath. When I got there it was actually working correctly, however I noticed under the bottom of it on the right side was a little bit wet, not much though. Tried to look at the valve assembly and underneath it while running it on service mode but couldn't see any spot where it might have been leaking from, and all the tests I ran through it, the water came in just fine on both hot and cold. And everything else looked and felt dry. Does anybody have any ideas what it could have been? I told the guy that if it does it again, let me know. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. No pictures, sorry.

Thank you all for input

So I went ahead and ordered a new valve. I had noticed somebody had tampered with the supply shutoff valves coming out of the wall so it was about ¾ of the way off, so I turned them all the way on and told them to keep it on hand and if the problem still persists call me and I'll come replace it.
