Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The Kenmore in Reply #2 is a 1970 Model 500 series, and it was fairly popular actually. My aunt had this exact model.

The Kenmore set in Reply #5 is definitely 60s. The washer looks like it may be of 1964 or 1965 vintage. It has been awhile since I have checked the Sears site, but I am almost willing to bet it is a 1965 800 (110.65148**). As I recall 1965 issued two groups within the 800 series family. This one may have been the alternative to the more prolific 1965 800 with the console light that we have seen many times. The dryer is definitely a 1968 model 700.

As for the Maytags:
The one in the first post is an A806. (I'm not assuming you don't know this already, I'm just on a roll)

In Reply #6: At first I was thinking it was an A608, but I am leaning more toward an A606S given the number of buttons in the panel left of the dial. I am not sure if the 08 series was available in 1975.

In reply #7 the washer looks like an A606, and the dryer a DE606. I am assuming this is electric because I do not see that small cap like door on the lower right front of it.

Have a good one,
James
