from the 1990s. Probably mid-Nineties to late Nineties. It looks UK Hotpoint-ish, as they were separate entities in the same group.
Creda was well known for their cookers: Creda 'Cavalier', Creda 'Carefree', Creda 'Aspire'. Both my Gran and my Mum had their Creda cookers for well over 25 years each.
Creda were a rival to Belling who also made cookers; 'Baby Belling', Belling 'Format'. I think Creda introduced one of the first thermostats on an electric cooker, in the UK.
I noticed a trend over the past few years, that the Creda name is being integrated into the Hotpoint range of appliances. In fact I saw a Hotpoint cooker that had "Creda Collection" on the control panel. This means that the Creda name has all but disappeared, which is a great pity.
