I had this and the matching dryer. Liked both of them. You can get the washer to heat the water and get sparkling whites. The dryer had two way tumble never had a problem with 'the big o ball of sheets'
Remember when these units first came out
Caused quite a furore in some circles such as over on THS/Laundryroom forum. Lots of persons just loved their little Danby units.
IIRC the washer could do a boil wash and so forth.

I had always wished all the manufacturers producing washers for the US market would have allowed the user the option to select wash temperature, in addition to spin speed, like the Danby rather than only being given description of cycle and vague temperature information. Not all of us are stupid when it comes to washing in a front loader. Front loaders offer too many advantages over top loaders for proper laundering, temperatures, and spin speeds. The "European" approach to laundry is far superior.
