That Maytag is the model I'd like to have, has buttons--heats water.  That GSD2800 must be a fairly late in series model.  Has the cup shelf on the outside left rack row rather than the inside left row.

Too bad there was no money shot for the Maytag for us amateurs to see the wash mechanism(s), etc.

Bob - whatever you said about the 2800, is it something that would be changed by reversing the racks or lifting it off and moving it over? I'm probably not understanding you correctly. LOL.
