Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Eddy, they cleaned very well. More grinding and no filtering, you had to make sure cups and glasses were on a sloped angle in the rack, they were prone to leave "yiblets" fine as sand on any concave surface. Sears sold a one washarm model for their "as low as", base price. alr2903

SANDS OF TIME?

Lots of water and lots of water changes usually insured good results and these machines came with all levels of options as far as cycles, styles and temp options.
Yibbles and bits were inevitable as there was no filtration at all and the upper arm(s) were supplied by the drain impeller pumping water up to the top of the machine. They had a soft food macerator that chopped most items up and had no place else to send them but back into the wash and rinse water.

SANDS OF TIME!

If you did a good scraping everything came out spotless! I liked the fact that it had a full arm under the upper rack and no tower. It is ashame they didnt add a filtering system.(the best for loading at that time)
