Just a short message...I got laid-off from my job last week...I was so caught off guard...so much for being a good employee for almost 6 years....Please pray for me to find another good job in this economy...

Sorry to hear this

Don't look back and just move foreward. My best advice would be to decide what you want to do and start looking right away. You also should qualify for Unemployment Benefits if you were laid off due to 'lack of work' as they put it.

I know the feeling I was out for a year and half - just went back a month ago and hard to adjust.

6 years is pretty good in this economy

Count your blessings you had the position as long as you did.

Give your self time to adjust and go through the emotions. Lots of people are suffering with much less.

You'll find something more.
