I need a 10' drain hose for my Kenmore 417.40042990. I purchased a replacement hose with a 1&1/4 inch I.D. on one and it is still too small. I can not streatch it over the pump opening. I can not find anything at Home Depot to rig to get this to work. The existing wash hose is corrugated so I do not think it will make a water tight seal if I add a hose bib and connect it to another section of 1" I.D. hose. Any suggestions?

You might be able to check either Lowe's or possibly even some other Appliance Parts Department or some other Hardware/Variety Stores for the longer Hose or even a suggestion as to how to connect the Hoses together you mentioned about wanting to use.
