E09 Error Code - Bosch Dishwasher

Our Bosch Dishwasher, model SHP65T56UC/07 started displaying error code E09 at the end of each cycle. It would finish the cycle but we noticed certain substances were not coming off the dishes as in the past. Research indicated the heating element in the circulator pump might have burned out so I ordered a new pump (12008381) and replaced it. When I reconnected power to the dishwasher, nothing happened. Dishwasher will not power on. There is power running through the cord but when trying to turn the machine on, absolutely nothing. Is there a chance I damaged something when replacing the pump or could the main control have gone bad? Dishwasher is only 4 years old. I put the old pump back on and still will not power on. Any guidance appreciated.

4 years old was when

the Bosch Assentia at my dads house died. Wash motor shot. It was about a $400 machine with the annealed stainless interior. My sister replaced it with a Whirlpool after his death a few years ago, a floor sample from Lowes.
That house had 4 dishwashers in it since 1982. A kit bashed Kenmore by Whirlpool my dad pieced together with a door other than o.e.m, a curb find Kitchen Aid 90's Superba until the board fried, then a low end Whirlpool electronic in 2005 or 06.
It's board fried by 2010, so with my folks health failing, he had Lowes install the Bosch.
As my sister, nor I were cooking for Dad for the few years he was on hemo dialisys, she went without. Thew water line wasn't closed, and it finally leaked, ruinung the flooring. Insurance replaced both, I think.
Stressed years caring for them. My sister and I were primary care givers. She moved in pending her divorce after 25 years. My mom had memory issues, so had to live in a home until her death in 2013, following a broken ankle. She never walked again. My dad was an 85 year old fighter, never gave up. Loved eating out, all he had left to enjoy, so we did often.
He walked himself into the clinic on his last day with his walker, and ate two full meals before hand.
Life is short though, enjoy it! Get a new dishwasher! Average lifespan is 7 years now. A higher price point may get you one that lasts longer. My GE Profile is a 2011 model, and was $800.

i agree 100% best to buy a new dishwasher depending on what you went i would highly recommend if you went a quiet dishwasher the kitchenaid kdfe204kps here a small vid of the one my mom and i own it was at the final rinse part
