Great big exhaust fan right above control panel, I'm sure that would take care of any cooking smoke and grease.

I agree Lawrence! I think the sunny yellow would just brighten any day in a kitchen!

Since everything that is old is new again, I wonder how long before the cheerful pastels make a come back!

That range is one strange bird. It is a 30" with the regular 17 or 18 inch width oven. Note the deep well ring around the left rear surface unit? Well, next to the oven is a narrow little broiler that is not as tall as the main oven to allow for the deep well, but with only one door, if you broil in the little oven, you can't use the main oven because you can't close the door. They put two doors on the next year's model, with a side-swing door for the broiler then figured out how to make a full width oven for the 30" ranges.

That range is

A 55,No yellow for me my LEAST favorite color, I had to look at a yellow kitchen growing up..YICK! All Hotpoint 30 inch ranges had the 39 inch oven liner and either a storage compartment of one kind or another or a broiler, they did this so they could have a deep well cooker on a 30 inch range, we had a 54 when I was a kid, I believe 58 or 59 is when they went to the full width oven.
