Those washer are some Asian (Chinese?), import designed for those with severly limited washing options. Sort of along the lines of the Avanti Egg washer.
Look cheap to me, shouldn't bother.

I've seen new versions of those on European sites, and would like to purchase one. However, these sites are not set up like American ones, and there is no purchase/delivery available. I'm leary of E-Bay, so probably won't check out these particular machines. Does anyone know how to order from the European sites?

Which European sites do you mean? If you order from Europe you will get a 230V machine.
