Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

One for Diomede, here are the hoses,

Thank you VERY VERY much Robert! It really seems like my old 1981's FL Sangiorgio...

Mine's got instead only cold-fill hose and the relative valve, but onto the cabinet near it there's the "HOT" label impressed...

It was just looking the rear side of this WM I understood that all are manufatured (this was in truth more common in past) to be hot-cold fill but only UK, Ireland, and some other Northern Europe and of course USA are the "predilected" to be provided with this feature while here...COLD-FILL ONLY!

I heard somewhere that Zanussi (here it'll be branded Rex) is coming out in January with a WM called "SUNNY", specialy designed for Italian market with the hot filling possibility again (endly after almost fourty years!!!) according with the new actual governement enviroment-friendly politic aid so that people could take the advantages of installing solar board with the conseguence of being able to use the accumulated hot (FREE!!!) water!

Thanks again
Diomede

BTW...

Could you please let me know how this machine manages the two valve...I'd like (if it's possible) to "modify" mine in order to add the second hot valve but honestly here many intendors are saying several and very different solutions to be applied...

Looking the interior of this it would be easier thant they say (using relè and some other electric tricks)

PS: Once when I was speaking with a technician he said me that it's not enoough to add the valve but it's the timer to be different in managing two valves instead of one valve only!

Interesting photos, thanks.

I find it peculiar that the Italian machines use a mechanical arrangement of linkages from the timer, to switch water flow to the various dispenser compartments. Candy does/did this too.

I was always used to Hoover's more elegant triple valve arrangement that relied on the timer directly energising the discrete valves.
