Please could someone explain the new eco 40-60 cycle to me? It is on my new miele. Research has told me that it is for washing normally soiled cottons suitable for washing at 40 or 60.
But I still don't get it.
I cant see how 40 and 60 can be one cycle. I wash every day clothes at 40 and towels sheets etc at 60. I dont want either my normal clothes to be ruined by being too hot or my 60 wash to not be clean enough.
Please enlighten!!

The concept is NOT to replace a 60C wash.

Idea is that it washes just as well as a 60C cycle but is safe for 40C as well.
Longer wash times, etc.
Cleaning is the same, but temp is just 40.

In the back of the manual of newer revisions you can see the actual temps reached etc.

It's a new label cycle, most Mieles barely reach 40C on those cycles.

Just download really any manual from Miele and check in the back by the usage data.
