Wonderful set, but no thank you to those worn out membranes. Electronics plus membrane touch pads remind me of the time Oklahoma jail officers had inmates listening to Baby Shark. Innocently funny when first convinced, but kind of cruel in practice. Especially on the dryer as electronics provide nothing of benefit upfront and only premature failure points with age as seen here.
Instead this is how I envision my Maytag Dependable Care Dryer:
No electronics. Just dependable EM controls, 1970s DC quality, 25 watt drum lamp, realistic tumble temps, and adequate fire protection. Real timed cycles with a 15 minute permanent press cool down and a 5 minute regular cycle cool down.
If everyone were like me the above Dryer would absolutely dominate the market.
