Everything is nice ...wow, what a find...that Kitchenaid food processor is soooo minty.
I like the electric knife with the wall storage - verrrrrry verrrrrrrry nice! congrats !
As Kelly said, this processor was made by RoboCoupe for KitchenAid. The dough dome and dough blade allow one to make larger amounts of yeast dough than using the metal blade and flat cover with the chute. I have the juice extractor and use it often, the pulp generated from juicing fruits and carrots is added to muffin batter.
As usual, great finds!! I have a KA food processor made by Robot Coupe in France, perhaps a model before yours. Probably the best I've ever used, you won't give it up at gunpoint. I've never seen the dough dome lid - good idea.
I'm a big champion of electric clocks vs battery powered, particularly vintage GE and Telechron models with the flag to indicate power has been interrupted. Not only do they alert you, but since they don't just sit there and flash 12:00 you can actually calculate how long the power was out.
The rest of your finds are phemomenal -- as usual!
What a terrific and sweet find that KA FP is for you! Truely one of the best deals of the years.
Robot Coupe was the inventor of modern food processors IIRC, the story of how it arrived on these shores as Cuisinart then Kitchenaid then back to Robot Coupe makes the Unilever-Henkel Persil story rather easy to understand by comparasion.[this post was last edited: 12/3/2012-05:02]
