Just drove by a used appliance store here, there was a Eurotech from Antonio Merloni available. Am debating about buying it (would be my 1st experience with a FL). It seems quite basic (timer knob, continuous cold to hot temp dial, and five buttons...no indication of spin speed or age. Hot/cold fill, normal 3 wire plug. Boot seemed pliable and not mildewy, although the machine did have a bit of a funk I blame it on the hot (102) temperatures. I didn't ask price, but might get it for <$100 or less. Any comments?

Check the filter flap for the rating label, the serial numbers first digits are for example
9910***** week 10, 1999
200215*** week 15, 2002

If it doesn't have any warranty on it, ask them if they'll give you a couple of weeks 'return and refund' so that you can be sure that it works ok...though for $100, you would barely get a non-working machine here off ebay and certainly not one from a retailer.

General description

Dont be tempted to overspend on it, they are not built to the best quality in the world.

Try not to spend too much more that $100 on it.

Best wishes
