I need a new pillow. Stopped at BB+B, looked at options, all too $$$, not willing to spend $100+ on a pillow. Went to Amazon and got overwhelmed. How do you even make sense of all that is out there? Prefer some down %.

I'm a side sleeper and tend to scrunch up my pillow. Pulled one out of the linen closet a few months ago, but now it's too flat. I have 8-10 pillows in need of new ticking, might make sense to resurrect some of them and run them through the wash. Generally wash my pillows 2x year, but those with weak ticking are put aside. Will not consider synthetic stuff, never been impressed with that type.

for those flat pillows try putting them in the dryer for 30 mins or so with a couple of dryer balls or tennis balls on high heat, two at a time is best. I’ve found that this can restore some the the loft to a flat pillow. Its best to wash them first, but this can help fluff up a dry pillow too.

A latex foam pillow is what I've had a majority of the time. That's what my mom got for all of our beds when I was little, including my crib. I tried a couple fiberfill pillows over the years, but never liked them nearly as well as foam.
