Those were strange, flatulent coffee pots that made a lot of noise and not very good coffee. The company made them for lots of different labels like Drunken Hines which, in the early 50s, had a line of soups, restaurants, a restaurant rating service and a food column in the press, and Saladmaster, of cookware and salad shredder & grinder fame to name only two.

I found one of those pots in an antique store, it was cheap and clean so we bought it. I will agree that it is a noisy pot when perking but the coffee isn't that bad its a decent machine.
