That is cool - and a great price for what appears to be a range in good condition. The seller seems to be very straightforward with it's known faults.

It will never be a good candidate for "gas conversion".

They made the same style range in gas and I have seen one that same red !!!!

Beautiful range!

I have never seen that model with the low back panel with the controls on it. Very interesting. When I was looking for the Coolerator Range ad tonight, I happened across a 1953 Monarch range ad and found out that they were also available in chartreuse! That might have been more than most people wanted to face early in the morning. It might be easier to cook dinner on a range of that color than breakfast; even lunch might be iffy.
