Food Grade STPP Yields Dental Miracle

While doing a Google search for Food Grade STPP, I came across a citation to an expensive dental rinse containing food grade STPP. I can understand the benefits of STPP in oral hygiene. Just like in washers and dishwashers, it could help with preventing mineral build up on teeth so 6 months ago, I embarked on an experiment with STPP. I mix a half teaspoon of water with a quarter teaspoon of FOOD GRADE STPP before I start brushing. I put the toothpaste on the brush and attach it to the Braun power unit. Once I get the toothpaste over all dental surfaces, I tip back my head and pour in the STPP solution. It takes some experimenting to find positions where it does not all run out before the brushing is finished while making sure to wash each surface with the solution.

When I went for my 6 month checkup, my hygienist took a look and asked if I was trying to put her our of work. She said the real test would be the presence of plaque behind my lower front teeth, but when she checked, there was none, anywhere. She did not have to use the scraper at all! Everything was clear! She said to keep doing what I was doing.

You can buy small packages of a couple of pounds of Food Grade STPP for a few dollars and using it at the rate of a 1/4 teaspoon two or three times a day, it lasts a very long time. You want to be sure to use the food grade because heaven only knows what other chemicals are present in regular industrial grade STPP.

It's listed on Crest Pro Health toothpaste as an ingredient, in the form sodium hexametaphosphate or SHMP (another complex phosphate that works like STPP).
