I've made the difficult decision to sell my early 1980s Hobart KitchenAid Superba dishwasher. It has been reliable and in good shape, however recently the soap dispenser isn't automatically opening. I've been advised here on the forum that likely a bad electrical connection developed at the bi-metal strip and that it is an easy fix.
General condition pictures attached.
and BONUS!! I'll throw in some extra goodies -"back up" parts I bought two years ago, just in case of a future problem:
-a new control switch and a new timer. I paid $100 on Ebay for these parts three years ago and they are still boxed...oh and a half a box of Cascade Fryer Boil Out detergent!
