That stove to the right of the fridge is fantastic!  Is that late 60s/early 70s?

That GE is stunning.  Good thing it's in Oregon.

I like all of the colors to be honest. We're slowly converting our kitchen appliances to sunny yellow.

If left to my own devices, I'd go with all Coppertone, but my better half is not as fond of that palette as I am. :)

This is our stove.  As you can see, we like our vintage appliances.

I agree with you that the coppertone is definitely more of a formal look.  Hmmm...maybe a 2nd kitchen is in order?!  It would have to be off the books, as it's against our county code now to have a 2nd kitchen.  Not sure why.  We're in a split level and I could see cooking in the lower level as a huge plus in the winter.

Thanks for showing off the yellow stove

It looks a bit green, but I'm sure it's not.

That's the silliest craziest anti-consumerist and home appliance-hindering idea I've ever heard - 2nd kitchens are not legal? What would you need to get one - create a second building structure ? I wouldn't believe it unless you told me.

Here's another yellow Frigidaire - this one may not be so desirable, as it looks too new compared to the 60's units

Oooh, I like those chrome strips on either side.  I really wish they'd put 1/10th the thought into modern appliances.  Yeah, the aqua on the walls and the fluorescent kind of gives it a greenish tint.

Not sure why it isn't legal anymore in the county, but when we were looking at houses a few years ago, we saw some older ones with 2nd kitchens and we were told that they were no longer permitted.  It really is a load of BS, IMHO.

I'm actually really shocked about the second kitchen rule. What about families that keep kosher? You don't have to have a whole second kitchen, but I know people who have little extra half-kitchens.

I think people get around the regulation by stating they're building a butler's pantry. Then they sneak in a stove.

My parents had a neighbor that kept kosher. They built a second kitchen, but got around the rule by basically 'expanding' the kitchen into the next room.

In my opinion, it's a ridiculous rule and I'm not sure why it was ever put on the books.
